Asha (she/her) is a queer first generation immigrant via adoption residing in saint paul, the ANCESTRAL and contemporary homelands of the dakota people in mni sota makoce (Minnesota).

She is an educator, innovator, adventurer, and founder of Fiwygin Outdoors, ASHA consulting, and BIPOC Outdoors Twin Cities.

Asha drinks hot chai or iced cold press every morning, listened to 93,849 minutes of music in 2018, loves to be on the water or in the woods, and is committed to ensuring equitable, inclusive and empowering access to the outdoors for historically marginalized people and communities. She is the proud auntie of three nephews, who she affectionately refers to as her Lil’ Homies.
