What is Fiwygin Outdoors?

Fiwygin Outdoors was created in 2016 as a safe and intentional group for folks who are underrepresented (due to historic marginalization and exclusion) in outdoor spaces.  Fiwygin is an acronym for Fit In Where You Get In, and is pronounced “Fusion.”

We host a monthly-ish event with multiple ways to access nature.  While all are welcome, we are primarily focused on serving and empowering Black People, Indigenous People, People of Color, queer folx, and people with limited income, mobility, experience and/or resources.

All outings are free to attend and are designed with all ages and abilities in mind.  Support (cash, food, skill share, gear, etc) is welcome to make this group sustainable.

Fiwygin Outdoors Wavier -- to be signed once a year to ensure your participation is informed and safe.  We bring a few blank waivers to each event, but please feel free to read and print your own copy.  Waivers are good for the calendar year.
