Whenever I say "long jumping", it sounds more like "lawn jumping". I should work on that, and eliminate some confusion.
I've started "training" for the long jump. This dude Ray has been kind enough to show me what to do, watch me, critique me, try not to laugh at me... it's been good so far. There's a meet towards the end of february at school, and I would really like to compete in it. Koby and I went to a meet at school last weekend. It was fun to watch the jumpers (and everyone, really). Koby ran the 3000 meters (unattached), and she won that shit! It was fun watching her run. Her friend Allie also ran the mile, and did very well. It was a good weekend (last weekend).
There's a meet at school (today) that I think I'm going to check out (spectating only). I might bring my lil camera too, so I can film some of the better jumpers, so I can have some stuff to review when I get home. We'll see. It's about -30 degrees outside (with windchill). So...I'm really going to have to bundle up. I've been investing in a lot of long underwear lately... and a lot of other useless crap.
School starts on tuesday (4 days), and I can't wait! Since I had to come home early from my trip, I've been chillin out big time, which is great (and needed), but I'd really like to feel engaged again. So...yeah, I'm pretty stoked about getting back into the swing of things.
I guess that's all I've got to report for now... adios.
